Slushie Kicks was created by four college students; whose intellect mirrored one of the countries finest universities, but their soles always resembled that of the streets. Omari, Mario, Khalid, and Barry stumbled upon their creative genius as an attempt to flawlessly revolutionize their Air Force Ones. As a result, the shoes that began as a basement pastime quickly were on the feet of Lebron James, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, TI, and Slushie Kicks very first celebrity customer, Big Boi, from the Hip-Hop duo, Outkast. It’s no mistake that these sneakers would end up on the feet of some of the industry’s finest and most promising faces. Within only a year, these custom shoes have graced the stage of the BET Awards, walked red carpets, sold in some of Atlanta’s exclusive boutiques, and dressed the feet of models in a number of fashion shows. It still just won’t stop; the designers have even named their creative process, “slushie”. That’s right, slushie, and not your neighborhood seven-eleven icee. Instead this slushie produces juxtaposed designs and three dimensional patterns, which make your sneakers look like they got caught in the matrix.
